Owen owns and runs Isle of Wight Adventure Activities. He is a Senior British Canoe Union Coach and works part time for them. He is a BCU outdoor centre inspector, coach trainer and is recognised by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority as a technical advisor. Owen is the chair of the BCU emerging disciplines technical committee which oversees and advises the national governing body on issues relating to sit on top kayaks and stand-up-paddle boards. He spends most of his time either in a sea kayak, on a sit on top kayak or on a mountain bike. He is an Accredited Practitioner of the Institute of Outdoor Learning

Achievements: Being invited to coach in Baja, Iceland and lots of other nice places. Being in the position of being able to help develop the world class BCU coaching scheme.
Whats Next… Ambitions / Plans: Continue the sea kayak round Ireland trip and continue to develop my ability to get the best out of my students

Other Hobbies: Spending time with my family
