What happens if the weather is not so good on the day we have booked our activity?

We still run all our activities when it is raining; we do however cancel them if it is extremely windy or there is any other reason that safety may be compromised.

If Isle of Wight Adventure Activities need to cancel an activity for any reason you will be informed at the earliest opportunity and you will be given the option of swopping to another activity, a change of date or a full refund, which ever you prefer.

Can unaccompanied children take part in activities?

Yes they can. We are licensed by the adventure activities licensing authority, which is a division of the HSE. It is a legal requirement for all activity providers to be licensed when working with under 18’s.

We are approved by all NGB for sports that have an approval scheme. Approval by NGBs guarantees a high quality standard of delivery. All our Instructors hold an enhanced DBS disclosure and the appropriate national governing body teaching and leadership awards.

If you book your children in for a full days activity we will ensure that they are appropriately supervised at any time when they are not engaged in an activity, such as lunch and break times.

Can I participate in all the activities if I have a medical condition?

Usually the answer is yes. There are very few medical conditions that prevent participation as long as we know about it beforehand. Prior knowledge enables us to ensure both your’s and your groups safety.

Do you run activities all year round?

Yes we do, however some activities run less frequently and coasteering stops between November and March.
