Curriculum enrichment programmes are, in our opinion, about a carefully constructed fine blend of fun, new experiences and enhanced learning through outdoor education. It could be via a forest school experience or programme, working as a team to ‘beat the flood’. It could even be learning about themselves and others whist keeping each other safe during a climbing session or could be any number of our other carefully tailored activities and experiences.

Our team of outdoor professionals have the fundamental goal of providing exciting, innovative and safe outdoor activities that relate to core curriculum areas.

With the Adventure Activities Isle of Wight enrichment programmes you can customise the activities to meet your student needs with activities such as mountain boarding, archery, off road scootering, climbing, paddlesport, team challenges, bushcraft, circus skills and wild cooking.

Adventure Activities Isle of Wight is within the Adventure Activities UK group, which has 4 qualified teachers on the team. All our school programmes, whether an hour or a week have an experienced member of teaching staff input to the programme and session content.

Our Ethos

We see all our activities as a vehicle for personal development. All our activities, whilst delivered around individual needs, have a broad focus based on building independence, working with others, experiencing new things, experimenting with new different forms of learning, developing an appreciation and respect for the outdoors and skill development.

Most activities have the option of building a foundation towards being able to attain a qualification or certificate in the near future.

Can we have a School Enrichment Programme run from our School?

Yes certainly; we can offer you a programme or a ‘one off’ activity from your School or from grounds nearby. You just need to get in touch to discuss it.

How much will the outdoor education enrichment programme cost?

£30 per student per day, with other options for shorter or longer sessions.

Are there any further development opportunities or is it a ‘one off’?

Our team, being as experienced as they are, will run a programme that will have a great range of options for taking the learning and development further. This could be a forest school programme thats based at your school once a week, or a paddlesport club. It could even be an annual two day paddleboard expedition. We have many options that offer added value to any school timetable.
